Salons, spas & beauty · Los Angeles

Marketing for salons and spas that keeps the chairs full.

Google Ads on the services people search for, Instagram creative that looks like your salon, a website built around booking, and a Google profile that wins the “near me” search.

Client space · Los Angeles

A salon lives on two things: new clients finding you, and current clients coming back. In Los Angeles both are decided on a phone — a search for “balayage near me,” an Instagram scroll, a Google listing with photos from four years ago.

We’ve worked with a Beverly Hills salon for years — website, photography, Google and Meta ads — and the playbook that keeps its book full is the one we bring to every beauty business: show up for the service searches, look like the real thing, and make booking a two-tap job.

  • Google Business Profile that books. Complete services list, current photos, weekly posts and a review flow. In beauty, the map pack gets the call before the website does.
  • Search ads on service terms. “Keratin treatment Beverly Hills,” “men’s haircut Studio City,” “lash extensions near me.” Tight, neighborhood-level campaigns with call tracking.
  • Instagram and Meta that look like you. Retargeting for people who visited the site, lookalikes built from your client list, creative shot in your chairs — not stock.
  • A booking-first website. One obvious button on every page. Service menu, stylists, prices where you want them, and a site that loads fast on a phone.
  • Photography every season. New color work, new interiors, new team. Fresh photos keep the profile, the site and the ads working.

Where salon clients come from

Most new clients search first. Then they look at the photos.

Beauty is one of the most searched local categories in LA, and the search almost always includes a service and a place. Google shows three businesses on the map before anything else. Getting into that box — and looking good once you’re there — is the single biggest lever a salon has.

We build the profile out completely, keep it active, and run search ads on the exact service terms your best clients type. Calls and bookings are tracked, so you know which term paid for which chair.

The look

Your photos are the pitch.

A prospect decides in half a second whether a salon is her salon. Real photos of the space, the team and the work do that job; stock photos and phone snaps under fluorescent light do the opposite.

We shoot interiors, team portraits and finished work in a half day, deliver them sized for the site, the Google profile and Instagram, and refresh them each season so nothing looks stale.

What we run for beauty businesses

Three campaigns that pay for themselves.

Service search campaigns

Google Ads built around your top services and the neighborhoods you draw from. Negative keywords cut the bargain hunters.

Retargeting and lookalikes

Meta campaigns aimed at people who already looked, plus lookalikes of your real client list. Usually the lowest cost per booking we run.

Reviews on autopilot

A simple text after each appointment. Ratings climb, the map pack follows, and new clients see fresh proof every week.

“S House Media has been a valuable asset to our business now for many years. Sebastian and his team have shaped our salon’s image with a beautiful website design, amazing marketing strategies, and have created some stunning images for us.”

Pricing

Starting points, not a rate card.

Local Growth

$2,500 /mo

Google Ads, Google Business Profile and lead automation, run as one system with one dashboard. The starting point for most businesses we work with.

Launch

$6,500

A new website, a half-day photo shoot and a complete Google Business Profile. For a new business or a fresh start.

Content Day

$2,000 /mo

One photo and video day a month with everything delivered cut for ads, Instagram and the website.

Every plan is scoped after a 15-minute call. Ad campaigns work best with $1,500 or more a month in ad spend; below that, there isn’t enough data to optimize and we’ll say so.

Questions

Straight answers

Do you work with independent stylists and suites, or only full salons?

Both. The playbook scales down — a single-chair suite usually starts with the Google profile and a small search budget, and adds Meta once the books are steady.

How much should a salon spend on ads?

Enough to test the top three services in your neighborhood for a month. We’ll recommend a number on the call based on your average ticket and how far people travel to you.

Can you connect the ads to my booking system?

Yes. Vagaro, Boulevard, Square, GlossGenius and most others can be tracked so we see which campaign produced the booking.

Do you handle Instagram posting?

We produce the photo and video and run the paid side. Day-to-day organic posting stays with your team, and we’ll set up a simple monthly plan for it.
